Thank goodness that someone in Washington DC is finally proposing some spending cuts…..But the big question is wether they will get passed, and if they do get passed will they be enough. This is a big concern not only for Every American Citizen, American Business and Illegal Aliens alike. The Governor of Utah announced his proposed $11.9B yesterday and hailed it as a solution to our economic woes, as it did not contain any “Tax Increases.”

Soon after the budget was announced, State house members began shooting holes in the governors proposal.

Our Special Guest for this Call for Freedom is a Utah State Representative from District 52, and one of the founders of the Patrick Henry Caucus (a group dedicated to a return to limited forms of government).  Representative Wimmer offered a challenge on Facebook for users to come up with solutions to Utah’s $850 million budget shortfall. We at the Call for Freedom took his challenge, on Nov. 24th we held a round table discussion where several solutions were proposed. These solutions have been presented to Rep.
