Podcast | Interview With Tom Woods on the Call For Freedom
July 8, 2010
Listen in as we talk with Thomas E. Woods, Jr., historian and New York Times bestselling author, recently featured on Glenn Beck, joins us on the Call For Freedom to discuss his latest book “Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century.” His new book explains not only why nullification is the constitutional tool the Founders envisioned, but how it works—and has already been employed in cases ranging from upholding the First Amendment to knocking down slave laws before the Civil War.
On the show we will discuss:
* How the states were meant to be checks against federal tyranny—and how a growing roster of governors and state attorneys general are recognizing they need to become that again
* Why the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution reinforces the rights of states to nullify unconstitutional laws
* Why it was left to the states to uphold the simple principle that an unconstitutional law is no law at all
* Why, without nullification, ordinary Americans will continue to suffer the oppression of unjust, unconstitutional laws

Podcast – Interviews with Mike Lee and Tim Bridgewater – 6-15-2010
June 18, 2010
Listen in as we have the two Utah Republican U.S. Senate candidates, Mike Lee and Tim Bridgewater, on the program. These two will be facing off in next week’s primary. We’re giving each one a full hour of air-time. Mr. Lee will be first followed by Mr. Bridgewater . Randall and I interview each candidate for 30 minutes then the callers have 30 minutes to ask them any questions they want. We ask them the tough questions that Constitutional patriots must have answered. Here are a few examples:
- What REAL impact do you feel you can have in Washington D.C.?
- What is your position on the 17th Amendment (agree or disagree with it)?
- What role should the Federal Reserve play in our economy?
- How will you deal with the usurpation of power by the the Executive Branch to give power back to the people?
We’ll also be asking hard-hitting questions specific to each candidate. Listen in to the discussion!
