Was Valley Forge the worst winter encampment the American army suffered through during the Revolutionary War?
Answer: No.
Additional Question: Which winter encampment was even worse?
Answer: The winter at Morristown during 1779-80. (The problems of woefully inadequate supplies were repeated, but the cold weather was much more severe.)
